CBGB.com also lists a number of gigs in September, even though it has been reported that the club's lease runs out on August 31. KoRn singer Jonathan Davis has revealed that ex-Otep guitarist Rob Patterson will be playing with the band on their upcoming European tour, though he is not a replacement for Brian "Head" Welch. On his Web site, Davis writes that Patterson "will not be on stage" and that "we don't want to use samples or tape cause that would suck." However, he says that KoRn is "not ready to have a new guy on stage with us" and that "this is for the first Europe run only. We have some new exciting ideas on how we are gonna play live in the future and I am sure it will blow your mind." Davis adds that the band has mixed 13 songs for their next studio album.
