Neil Young To Film Two Concerts

Singer/songwriter Neil Young and director Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs, Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense) will be working on filming two concerts in Nashville's Grand Old Opry later this month. Taping for the untitled project will take place August 18 and 19. Young will invite a variety of special guests to join him at the concerts, including Emmylou Harris.

As previously reported, Young has a few additional projects up his sleeve, starting with his new album Prairie Wind on Reprise Records, set for release on September 27. Young will also appear at the annual Farm Aid concert, and he has a collection of rarities entitled Archives Vol. 1 in development.
