Sirius Satellite Radio will launch the BBC music channel Radio 1 in America starting Wednesday (8/10) at 9 a.m. ET during Chris Moyles Breakfast Show. BBC Radio 1 will also be heard 24 hours a day on Sirius channel 97, time-shifted by five hours to match up with the U.S. Eastern time zone.
BBC Radio 1 is a cutting-edge mix of Pop, Rock, R&B, and Hip-Hop, and is internationally recognized for its support of up-and-coming British artists. BBC Radio 1 also features unique in-studio performances and interviews and extensive coverage of the international music scene.
