 Alice In Chains

Back in February, the three surviving members of Alice In Chains performed together for the first time since 1996, with an all-star roster of singers filling in for the late Layne Staley. Now the band's co-manager Bill Siddon says that Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez and Sean Kinney could be open to reuniting once again, if the situation was right. Siddon told the Los Angeles Times, "The guys had so much fun that they thought maybe there's something else we want to do. We'd love to find a way to let these guys perform together and have the fun they had and honor and respect what they created in the past, as well as Layne's contributions."Siddon assures fans that no INXS-style reality TV competition is being considered to fill Staley's shoes. "That's a perfect example of what happens when you marry television and music badly. It's not what Alice was ever about," he told the Times.
He continues, "We might do a date here or there if there are opportunities to get a special guest to sing. That's been discussed. More likely at this point we'll do benefits rather than paying gigs."
