| Stones Rock Fenway In Tour Opener |

 Rolling Stones
| The Rolling Stones opened their latest world tour at Boston's storied Fenway Park on Sunday night, and by all accounts, the band was just as energetic as ever. The concert opened with fireworks and flames shooting up from the stage as the band launched into "Start Me Up." The Stones rolled out other old favorites like "Shattered" and "Tumbling Dice" and the new single, "Rough Justice," before doing a tribute to Ray Charles by playing his song "Night Time."
Then, about halfway through the two-hour, 22-song show, a small section of the stage lifted up hydraulically and carried the entire band about 50 feet into the heart of the crowd in Fenway's outfield. The group played four songs on the intimate, smaller stage, including "Beast of Burden," "Oh No, Not You Again" from A Bigger Bang, "Satisfaction" and "Honky Tonk Woman."
Conspicuously absent from the set was the controversial new tune "Sweet Neo Con," which has drawn attention for its criticism of right-wing politics, religious extremism and corporate scandal. But the show included other staples such as "Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Brown Sugar," not to mention the encore of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "It's Only Rock & Roll."
The only mishap came when a 20-year-old fan who had climbed up on the rafters fell about 35 feet and broke both her ankles and a wrist, but she is reportedly in stable condition. The Stones will play another show at Fenway Park on Tuesday, before continuing on with the 37-city tour North American tour.
In other Stones news, Sirius Satellite Radio will launch an all-Rolling Stones channel on August 23 at 9 a.m. EST. The band will help program the channel, which will feature five decades of Rolling Stones music, rare tracks, live cuts and previews from A Bigger Bang. The channel will air nightly concert playbacks where Sirius will play album versions of the Stones' songs in the order they were performed following each U.S. tour date. Rolling Stones Radio will be available until September 29.
