Motley Crue

Motley Crue has decided to continue their Carnival Of Sins tour in 2006. The trek will resume in February with 27 U.S. dates, according to MTV.com. Their 2006 touring schedule starts off with an appearance on February 10 in Columbus, Georgia, and is slated to finish on April Fools' Day in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Then the band will play another round of European dates and a South American run before entering the studio to start work on the next Crüe album.

Piano-playing songstress Nellie McKay's new album, Pretty Little Head, will be out on January 3. It features duets with Cyndi Lauper on "Beecharmer" and K.D. Lang on "We Had It Right." McKay has also scheduled a few shows where she will premiere new material. She'll play two nights in Los Angeles on November 29 and 30, and then two in New York on December 5 and 6.

Elvis Costello will head into the studio with songwriter/arranger/pianist Allen Toussaint for a new album, which Joe Henry will produce, according to Billboard. Henry likens the project to Costello's 1998 pairing with Burt Bacharach, telling Billboard, "That project was a very legitimate collaboration between the two artists, and this will feature Elvis as a singer doing both classic songs that Allen has written as well as new material [the two are writing]." Meanwhile, Elvis is heading out on an orchestral tour where he will perform with many of the finest symphonies in the U.S. The trek begins on March 27 in San Francisco and ends May 13 in Atlanta.

A small riot broke out during a free performance from boy band B5 at the Brookdale Center Mall in Minnesota on Saturday. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that just as B5 finished their first song, "You Got Me," and started the second, an enthusiastic fan jumped on stage. Within seconds, the crowd surged forward and onto the stage, sparking what one witness called "total chaos." Four people were taken to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and five others were treated at the scene. The band was whisked to safety and the mall was shut down for two hours.
