"The Radio Chick" Leslie Gold will join Infinity's WXRK (92.3 Free FM)/New York as the new afternoon drive host, beginning on January 3. She will be joined on the show by her long-time collaborators, producer Butchy Brennan and sidekick comedian Chuck Nice. Additionally, the four-hour program will be streamed online.

There was no word on the fate of Booker, the current afternoon drive host on WXRK.

"Leslie is one of the most daring and innovative hosts on radio today," said VP/GM Tom Chiusano. "And she has the distinctive ability to bond with her listeners as if she were their best female friend. In an industry so often dominated by male hosts, we are thrilled to welcome someone of Leslie's caliber to the station with her unique sense of humor and style."

Before her stint at Sirius, Gold was known for her work at WNEW/New York and her morning show on WAXQ/New York.
