Scott Stapp has spoken out, refuting last week's story that he was in a Thanksgiving hotel fight with members of 311. The ex-Creed singer released a statement, according to MTV.com, in which he says "I did not instigate this altercation." Stapp also references a news report in which a member of the hotel security stated that 311 started the fight. Stapp's tour manager is also quoted, and stands by the singer. In turn, the members of 311 responded in their own statement, reiterating their claims that Stapp was at fault.

Bon Jovi's December 17 concert in Washington, D.C. will be streamed in its entirety through Sprint's wireless video delivery service. Subscribers to the Sprint MobiTV system will be able to watch for free, while those with Sprint PCS Vision will have the ability to purchase the concert. Sprint is sponsoring the New Jersey band's current tour, and band manager Paul Korzilius says, "The relationship with Sprint not only puts our music in the palm of fans' hands through full-track music downloads and ringers, but now gives them an exclusive opportunity to experience a live Bon Jovi concert. And because this is a sold-out tour, that's the next best thing to having a physical ticket."Sting will headline golf great Tiger Woods' annual benefit concert in Las Vegas. The concert will be held on April 29 of next year, with proceeds from Tiger Jam IX going to the youth-education Tiger Woods Learning Center in California.
Yellowcard has been forced to cancel a U.K. tour, due to singer Ryan Key having a nodule on his vocal chords. Key writes on the band's Web site, "If we don't take care of it now there is a serious risk of surgery which could put us out of commission for quite some time." The Florida band is still slated to begin their U.S. tour in Minneapolis on January 19.
Also on the disabled list is My Morning Jacket's Jim James, who is suffering from "health complications related to pneumonia," according to MyMorningJacket.com. The band has cancelled their New Year's Eve gig as well as their European tour which was to begin in January.
