Alanis Morissette says she is working on her memoirs, as well as her next studio album. The Canadian singer tells Rolling Stone the book will be about "relationships, fame, travel, body-image issues, spirit -- with a lot of self-deprecating humor peppered throughout, 'cause I just can't help it." As for her next album, her first in three years, it is expected some time in 2007. Morissette will work with a variety of collaborators, including producer Mike Elizondo. Elizondo produced her new song "Wunderkind," which was on the soundtrack to The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe, and is up for a Golden Globe tonight.It looks like Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow will soon be brainstorming for another creative baby name. Paltrow confirmed rumors over the weekend that she is pregnant with the couple's second child. After a special screening of her film Proof, Paltrow was introduced as "a pregnant woman" and said she is "far enough along to feel very cumbersome," according to E! Online. Of course, Martin and Paltrow's first child, Apple, was born in May 2004.
Scott Stapp will embark on his first-ever solo tour in support of his album, The Great Divide, which has already gone platinum. Stapp will begin the tour in his home turf of Orlando, FL on February 23, with 15 dates announced thus far. He will be playing primarily smaller clubs on the trek.

The list of musicians who've visited Springfield over the years includes U2, The Who, all of the Beatles (except John Lennon of course), The Ramones and many, many others.
Former Police drummer Stewart Copeland has crafted a documentary out of footage he shot during the existence of the seminal Rock band. Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out is set to debut at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, according to Billboard. The footage, shot on Super 8 film, is narrated by Copeland.
After over two years together, Seether frontman Shaun Morgan says he is no longer dating Amy Lee of Evanescence. Morgan told the Arkansas Times the couple recently and amicably split. Seether is on the road as part of the Sno-Core tour with Shinedown.
MTV.com reports the long-in-the-works Sly & The Family Stone tribute album, Different Strokes For Different Folks, will finally arrive in stores on January 31. It features contributions from Maroon 5, John Legend, Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, Joss Stone, Chuck D. and many others.
According to various reports, Rock keyboard great Billy Preston is currently recovering from a serious illness after an infection of the heart. Preston is known for his work with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton and has suffered from kidney failure and high blood pressure for the last few years.
Zakk Wylde will be inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk tomorrow (January 17). Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, Slash, Duff McKagen, Jerry Cantrell and many other rockers are expected to be on hand for the ceremony.
