CBS Radio has renamed its integrated marketing department the CBS Radio Altitude Group, effective immediately. Formerly known as Infinity Solutions and Beyond (ISB), the change reflects the division's expanded focus on creating multi-platform campaigns utilizing CBS Radio's broadcast and digital assets.
"As the exclusive gateway designed to take advantage of the entire range of CBS Radio assets, we are able to connect our clients' brands to listeners with local relevance and dynamic engagement," said Altitude Group EVP Rich Lobel. "The group's positioning is about elevating ideas by taking them to new heights across multiple cross-channel touchpoints." CBS Radio President of Marketing David Goodman added, "Streaming audio and video, on-demand programming, podcasting and mobile technology has been embraced across all 179 CBS Radio stations. This convergence of content amplifies what we can offer advertisers in a truly integrated media environment."
In a related announcement, Stefan Willimann has joined the Altitude Group as VP of Strategic Sales and Marketing. He will report to Lobel. Willimann joins CBS Radio from WorldNow, a company that provides Internet revenue solutions. Prior to that, he was President and founder of BMS, Inc., a provider of integrated multimedia marketing, communications and creative services, principally on television.
