Children's Worker Fired After Stripping For Stern
April 11, 2006

A woman who works as a child abuse investigator in Florida will be fired after stripping for Howard Stern. As reported yesterdayAlison Cushman, an employee of the Palm Beach County Department of Children and Families, visited Stern in February of 2005 while on vacation and returned to the show again last week. Naked pictures of Cushman were posted on HowardStern.com, prompting her employer to speak out against her actions.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Children and Families said Cushman was giving an official warning the first time she appeared on the Stern show last year, and after her second appearance was officially notified of her firing. According to the Palm Beach Post, DCF spokeswoman Marilyn Muñoz says that employees of the state are aware they can be reprimanded for conduct issues while on or off the job.

Additionally, Cushman's husband Troy Raines appeared with her on Stern's show, and could face disciplinary action as well for identifying himself on-air as a detective with the Boynton Beach police force.
