Neil Young's much-discussed Living With War album will be available for sale digitally next week, but the politically-charged album will begin streaming online as of tomorrow (Friday, April 28), including right here at FMQB.com. As previously reported, Living With War will go on sale via digital download starting Tuesday, May 2. The album is expected to be released in traditional stores sometime in the first half of May.

This is all a quick turn-around time for an album that was just recorded mere weeks ago. However, Young received immediate press by revealing one of his new songs is entitled "Let's Impeach The President." Other songs on the record, which Young calls "Metal Folk protest" music, include "Shock And Awe," "Lookin' For A Leader," "Flags Of Freedom" and the title track. The album ends with a recording of "America The Beautiful," featuring a 100-member choir. Young has posted lyrics to a new song every day on NeilYoung.com. Also on Young's site is a link to the Living With War blog, which features stories and news about the album.

As announced earlier this week, Young will be touring behind the album with his old friends Crosby, Stills & Nash on CSNY's summer Freedom Of Speech '06 tour, which begins on July 6 in Philadelphia and is slated to wrap up back in PA on September 10 in Pittsburgh.
