Bucking the current trend, Nassau Broadcasting has actually added The Howard Stern Show to a new Portland, Maine simulcast. The Classic Hits format, dubbed "106.7 and 104.7 The Bone," now occupies the signals of recently-acquired WMTW-FM,which flips from News, and WQEZ-FM, which was an AC. Nassau recently acquired the stations from the WMTW Broadcast Group and Mariner Broadcasting,respectively.
Nassau also made changes at other recently-acquired stations, picking up the Liberal Talk Air America Radio for WMTW-AM;blowing up the AC format at WMEK/Auburn and replacing it with the Country format from WTHT/Lewiston, and launching a new Classic Hits station on WTHT's old 107.5 frequency called "Frank-FM." Additionally, WLAM/Lewiston, which had been simulcasting WMTW-AM, launches a Soft AC format billed as "Maine's Memory Station."
