As part of a settlement over a payment dispute, Air America  will soon lose its Chicago outlet,  WNDT-AM. As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times, the Liberal Talk network, featuring hosts Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo as the cornerstones of its line-up, will cease broadcasting on the Multicultural Radio Broadcasting outlet next Friday, April 30. While Air America can be heard at the company's Web site, airamericaradio.com, and will still be available to Chicagoan's who subscribe to XM Satellite Radio, officials at Air America say they are in negotiations to secure another Chicago signal in the near future.
