Town and state you grew up in:  Grew up in Katy, Texas near Houston. It was a rather large rice patty back then, with lots of mosquitoes, and horses and country western wear and rodeos, etc. (Can you say Yee-HAW!?). Now it's like giant Suburbia Land. I went to high school with Renee Zellweger and used to kiss her little brother Drew in my brother's closet on dares from my brother Sam, who was Drew's best friend in High School. My brothers would drool over Renee, but I always wondered what was the fuss was over this girl in pig tails with all the freckles? Who knew?!! 

Town and state you live in now:  Living in Kingwood, TX just north of Houston near the big airport there with hubby Larry (who also sings with me on The Prayer), and our two adorable spoiled babies, Cookie and Sugar (of the four-legged variety).  

First instrument: Piano, then later flute (warning: several traumatizing band experiences there!) I'm trying to learn guitar, and may even be able to quit spoons and castanets when I finally learn drums!

First performance:  At Sheraton Town and Country when I was 12. 

Last book you read:  Private #1 Suspect by James Patterson. 

Favorite movie:  Casablanca and Meet Joe Black 

Song you wish you had written:  All the songs on my CD - great classics and I loved re-recording them with a fresh pop twist.

Three people (alive or dead) you would want to have dinner with:  Ronald Reagan, Elton John, Princess Diana and Jesus

Three CD's you can't live without: These are my top musical influences: Elton John - "Goodbye Yellowbrick Road,"  Billy Joel – "The Stranger," and Eagles - anything but especially "Hotel California." 

Guilty pleasure:  Reading trashy murder mystery novels while eating ice cream and Pirate's Booty in bed with my dogs.

Your most recent project:  Writing several new edgier songs for another CD as well as 2 Christmas songs.
