Brad Davidson & Ben Singer Launch ThinkSay Records
June 19, 2012

Brad Davidson and Ben Singer
Industry veterans Brad Davidson and Ben Singer have launched ThinkSay Records with the label’s first release from Chris Wallace (former member of White Tie Affair). Davidson and Singer first joined forces when they jointly orchestrated the success last year of Andy Grammer, with Davidson as SVP of Promotion of S-Curve Records and Singer, President/CEO of SMG, representing Grammer.

Recalling Grammer's chart success, Davidson notes the changes he perceived in promoting and marketing of an artist in the current digital age. "In today’s competitive marketplace you don’t win by being bigger and spending more. You win by implementing the best plan, based on the resources you have – the most important being the artist’s ability to work, a shared vision, and making the best music."

Singer also found that building an artist’s career in the today’s music industry takes more than one song and massive ad spends but also the ability to determine the specific artists in which to invest time and resources. "We aren’t just signing a song. We’re signing winners. Artists that we know will fight in the trenches with us - that not only match our passion and intensity but surpass them," he says.

With ThinkSay, Davidson and Singer have created a 360-degree business model that adopts their business philosophy of substance before style and capitalizes on their combined of 20+ years of music business experience.

Chris Wallace’s first single, "Remember When (Push Rewind)," impacts Top 40 radio on July 10. Already gaining early traction and advance buzz, the single will be followed by the first official ThinkSay album release, Wallace’s Push Rewind, this summer.
