Chuck Adame is elevated to Marketing Director at CBS Radio CHR KAMP/Los Angeles. Adame replaces Chad Fitzsimmons who was recently promoted to Director of Integrated Marketing for Amp Radio, KROQ and KCBS-FM.

Changes at Rhythmic WLLD/Tampa as Orlando & The Freakshow co-hosts Gordie Daniels exits and Navaho will be leaving soon. Host Orlando, Producer Special Ed and Entertainment reporter Carlos Diaz will carry on.

Paul Strong, OM/air talent at CHR/Rhythmic WCKX and Urban AC WXMG/Columbus is exiting on June 29. Strong will be moving on to become the Public Relations Director and interim Regional Sales Manager at Oxy Water in Columbus.

Rico Garcia is promoted to Director of Programming Operations for Results Radio. Garcia will remain PD of Classic Hits KCCL/Sacramento. "The last 5+ years with Results Radio have been extremely rewarding, and it’s exciting when your contribution and commitment is recognized and rewarded," Garcia said. "I look forward to being an asset and advocate for our programming and marketing departments around northern California." Results Radio owns and operates 13 stations in California.

Tami Morrissey joins Suburban Noize Records as Director of Radio Promotion. Morrissey arrives after a long run at Epitaph Records where she held a similar post.

Emmis Communications names Donyshia Benjamin as the new Marketing Director of Emmis-New York. Benjamin was most recently Sr. Director of Promotion and Digital Media at Emmis New York.

Radio One, Tom Joyner, BET Networks and Inner City Broadcasting are among the organizations behind the #intheBLACK campaign, designed to promote the power of African-American consumers. Internet radio aggregator Tunein inks a deal with Carolla Digital, producers of The Adam Carolla Show. The agreement will make all episodes of every recent Carolla Digital show available on the TuneIn service.

Slacker teams with ABC Radio for "lifestyle" stations, as the Internet radio service adds Talk content divided into "Men's Life" and "Women's Life." The Men's Life section includes categories such as Health & Fitness, Games & Gadgets, Tech, Style & Fashion, while Women's Life features Food & Drink, Entertainment, Hair & Beauty, Home Living and more.

CNet reports that the legal battle between EMI and MP3tunes.com seems to be winding down, as MP3tunes founder Michael Robertson ran out of funds last month to continue fighting the lawsuit. EMI now is asking for Robertson's personal assets. MP3tunes filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy recently, leading to the case being permanently stayed. Robinson also asked that EMI's complaint against him also be stayed, but was denied.

Imaging/production/voiceover company Benztown adds Stretch Roberts as its lead Rock/Sports/Comedy writer.
