Clear Channel Media and Entertainment/Triad announces that Rich McMillan has joined the cluster as OM, effective immediately. McMillan will oversee the programming efforts for CC’s five station cluster, and will also assume the role of PD for WVBZ-FM (The Buzz) and WPTI-FM (Rush Radio). McMillan joins the Triad market from CCM+E-Birmingham, where he most recently served as the PD for Magic 96.5 and 105.1 Hallelujah FM.
Doug Downs returns to the GM post at Connoisseur Media-Wichita. Previously, from 2007-2009 Downs had oversight of Adult Hits KIBB and Country KVWF for Connoisseur.
Dave Cobb exits the GM seat at Country WXBM and AC WMEZ/Pensacola.
Jenny Olive joins Modern AC KQKQ/Omaha for middays replacing Heather Lee, who now handles MD duties at Hot AC KLCK/Seattle.
Next Media AC WZSR/Crystal Lake-Chicago welcomes Frank Monroe for middays as well as Production Director for the cluster. Monroe had most recently handled mornings at Hot AC KPTL/Des Moines. As a result, Molly J shifts from middays to afternoons.
Nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick and DJ Laz join Fox Television's Dish Nation, a radio-driven entertainment news show. The show, which premieres weeknights starting September 10, relies on radio hosts to speak on what's hot that day in pop culture.
