Young Jeezy Named Atlantic Records SVP Of A&R

Rapper Young Jeezy has confirmed rumors that he has been named SVP of A&R for Atlantic Records. While an official announcement from the label has yet to be released, Jeezy tweeted this morning "From the streets to the Boardroom. SVP of A&R at Atlantic Records I am. Let's Get it! Corporate Thuggin!" The message was retweeted by Atlantic's official Twitter account.

Jeezy (real name: Jay Wayne Jenkins) released Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, his fourth studio album, on Def Jam last December.
