Dana Cortez, morning host at CHR/Rhythmic KKSS/Albuquerque, adds midday duties at bilingual CHR sister KESS/Dallas.

CHR KHTS/San Diego adds Chino Iglesias for afternoons. Iglesias will continue his current voice workload: afternoons at KYLD/San Francisco, mornings at KYOT/Phoenix and KPTT/Denver and nights at KXJM/Portland.

The Connie & Curtis morning show, which eminates from CHR WZEE/Madison, is no longer on the air at CHR WRNW/Milwaukee. 

Mary Jo Beach exits the GM post at the Townsquare Media-Utica Rome cluster. Taking over for Beach is Karen Carey, who arrives from Clear Channel-Rochester.

Modern Rocker WWDC (DC101)/Washington, D.C. will hold its DC101 Kerfuffle on September 15, with The Offspring, Sublime with Rome, Garbage, Anberlin, Foxy Shazam and Dead Sara on the bill.

CBS Radio's Washington, D.C. cluster names Ivy Savoy-Smith as Director of Sales, Integrated Marketing & Special Events, while Awanya Anglin is promoted to Manager of Special Events.

SoundExchange has released a list of more than 50,000 recording artist and record label names owed tens of millions of dollars in unclaimed digital performance royalty payments. This list also includes more than $31 million in royalties that are three or more years old. The artists and labels named on the list have accumulated unclaimed royalties waiting to be paid out by SoundExchange. SoundExchange is encouraging recording artists and record labels to view the searchable database on its website to learn more and register to receive their share. The unclaimed royalties, ranging from $10 to more than $100,000, have been collected by SoundExchange during the past decade.

The Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) Group announces that Beasley Broadcast Group EVP/CFO Caroline Beasley has been named the recipient of the 4th annual MIW Radio Group Trailblazer Award, renamed in 2012 as the "Frances Preston Trailblazer Award."  Beasley will be recognized on stage on Wednesday, September 19 during the Opening Remarks and Welcome Keynote session at the 2012 Radio Show in Dallas. The Trailblazer Award is presented each year to a woman who has "blazed new trails" for women in the radio industry. It is being renamed as "Frances Preston Trailblazer Award" in honor BMI’s longtime President and CEO, who passed away earlier this year. 
     "Caroline Beasley’s outstanding leadership and commitment to the radio broadcasting industry and Beasley Broadcast Group make her the perfect choice to receive this coveted honor," said MIW Radio Group Spokesperson and Greater Media VP of Corporate Communication Heidi Raphael.

Greater Media and the International Radio Festival (IRF) Zurich announce a partnership, in which three Greater Media stations in Boston, Detroit and Philadelphia will simulcast the third edition of the International Radio Festival-Zurich from September 12-16  The festival will be heard on 96.9-HD2 in Boston, 105.1-HD2 in Detroit, and 93.3-HD2 in Philadelphia. The IRF celebrates and showcases global contemporary music radio.
