August 17, 2012

The Killers
The Killers have revealed the tracklisting for their new album, Battle Born, which is due on September 18. Fans can unlock the tracklist by performing four steps that are outlined on the band's Facebook page. Battle Born will contain a total of 12 tracks, including the new single "Runaways." The Killers worked on the album in their Las Vegas studio with producers such as Brendan O'Brien, Steve Lillywhite, Daniel Lanois and Stuart Price, who produced their previous album, 2008's Day & Age.

After Cee Lo Green was tapped to sing this year's Thursday Night Football theme song, even more artists have teamed up with the NFL. According to EW.com, Mariah Carey and No Doubt will perform in New York City at Rockefeller Plaza for an NFL pre-game special on September 5. The show will air live at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC one day before the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboy kick off the season in New Jersey. As reported yesterday, Cee Lo has crafted the song "I Love Football" (recorded to the tune of The Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop") to air during the NFL Network's Thursday Night Football broadcast.

All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte leaked a new track called "Down Through The Ages" on his personal YouTube channel early this week. The song is the first track to be released from the band's upcoming new album, A War You Cannot Win, which will be released this fall. More songs and pre-sale news will be released shortly. In the meantime, All That Remains also revealed a number of new radio and festival tour dates for September and October, including KFMA's Fall Ball and WJRR's Halloweenie Roast.

Bud Light is prepping the fifth year of its Port Paradise Music Festival, a two-day concert event in the Bahamas. The first night will be held at Atlantis in Nassau on November 17 featuring Pitbull, Flo Rida and Far East Movement, and night two happens on Coco Cay on November 18 with Brad Paisley, All-American Rejects and Young the Giant. Tickets for this year's Port Paradise will be given away via sweepstakes at Bud Light's Facebook page and www.BudLightPortParadise.com, with 5,000 promotional winners aged 21 and older set to be hosted aboard two full-size cruise liners from November 16-19.

The Jonas Brothers have spent the summer in the studio cooking up new tunes, which may see the light of day this year. "I wish it could be released tomorrow. Obviously, there's just so many other things you have to think about," Joe Jonas explained to MTV News. "But we've been working on music for about three, four months now and got into a place now where it's just a rhythm, and we're creating the music, and it's really coming together really well. I would say fall hopefully you'll hear some stuff." Kevin Jonas added, "We've done some out-of-the-box things. We've done some things that are rocky, poppy, country-ish. We've done everything. I think [fans are] waiting for new music to come out so quickly. But really, we've been cultivating it for so long, we really want to spend the time needed to make it as perfect as can be because so much is riding on this album for us." The brothers also announced today they will play their first concert since 2010, as they will headline Radio City Music Hall in New York City on October 1. They broke the news to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show today. Tickets go on sale next Friday, August 24.

After a six-year absence between albums, DMX will finally release his new set, Undisputed, on September 11. Due to repeated delays that pushed back the release of Undisputed, X released the free EP The Weigh-In, but he can't wait to unleash the full album. "I put The Weigh-In out just because the album [got] pushed back three different times and I got tired, 'cause I'm the only one saying what the date is, so it looked like I'm a liar," he told Rolling Stone. "So I said, 'F**k it, I'm just going to give them a free joint to hold on to until the album comes out.'" However, he added, "I'm not the mixtape guy who's gonna put out a new one every month. I'm gonna allow my albums to marinate and resonate and whatever type of 'ates' they can do. I'm gonna let my music grow on them."

After enduring a tour bus crash outside of Bath, England early on Wednesday morning, the band members of Baroness and their crew are recovering. According to a statement from the band, "John Baizley has broken his left arm and left leg. Allen Blickle and Matt Maggioni each suffered fractured vertebrae. All three remain in the hospital as of this writing. Pete Adams has been treated and released from the hospital." Also, three crew members have been treated and released, while one is still undergoing testing. The driver of the bus remains in critical condition.
