Tommy BoDean is promoted to OM of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's Jacksonville cluster, effective immediately. BoDean will oversee the daily operations of the six station cluster.
BoDean has been with Clear Channel-Jacksonville since September 2010, serving as Program Director for CHR WNWW (Radio Now 97.9), Adult Hits WWJK (Jack FM) and Sports WFXJ-AM as well as Social Media Director for the entire cluster. He first started in radio in high school, and has held multiple programming roles serving as PD and On-Air Host in the Nashville, Columbia, SC, Cincinnati, and Madison markets.
"I realized in high school that I wanted to be in radio and it’s truly been a dream come true – from programming multiple radio stations to now overseeing the day to day operations of six stations," said BoDean. "Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with and learning from the very best in our industry. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity work with the programming team and senior management including Rod Phillips, John Rohm and Market Manager, Mark O’Brien, to take Clear Channel Jacksonville to the next level."
"Tommy's exceptional performance in Jacksonville with Radio Now, Jack FM and his contributions to rebuilding Sports Radio 930 has made his appointment an easy decision," said Mark O’Brien, CCM+E-Jacksonville Market Manager. "Tommy has an uncanny ability to synchronize the difficult tasks of entertaining listeners with exceptional on-air and online programming while also working with our sales team to maximize our efforts for our valued client base, all while meeting the needs of the Jacksonville community."
