Arbitron has released its latest update to clients on the effects on Hurricane Sandy on recent ratings. The company has reviewed In-Tab and other performance metrics for Week 1 of the December PPM report period (November 8-November 14) and has determined that these metrics support the release of Week 1 Weeklies data. Arbitron will therefore be releasing PPM Weeklies data for December Week 1 for all markets as scheduled. Week 1 will also be included in all PPM December 2012 monthly reports.

FMQB offers condolences to the family and friends of former Active Rock KMOD/Tulsa morning co-host Phil Stone who passed away last week at the age of 57. For almost 27 years, Stone had been teamed with Brent Douglas on KMOD's The Morning Zoo, until he exited in September.

FMQB was saddened to hear of the passing of pioneering music agent Frank Barsalona who died early last Thursday (11/22) after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 74. Barsalona, whose Premier Talent agency changed the concert business, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Steven Van Zandt in 2005
