Beyoncé will star in, direct and executive produce an HBO documentary about the singer's life and career. The film will debut on the cable network on February 16, 2013 and mix concert footage with offstage scenes shot by Beyoncé herself. In a statement, she says, "HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity. Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home."

It's game over for Justin Bieber's "Baby," as PSY's hit "Gangnam Style" has become the most highly viewed video in all of YouTube history – in only just over four months. With 826 million views, "Gangnam Style" also maintains another record of having the most Likes on YouTube at 5.47 million (and 338 thousand Dislikes), defeating "Baby"'s 1.4 million Likes (and an overwhelming 3.2 million Dislikes). PSY tweeted, "#GangnamStyle just became the most watched video @YouTube!! #History" to celebrate the achievement. PSY has recently performed the "Gangnam Style" dance alongside famous performers such as Britney Spears, Madonna, and most recently, MC Hammer at the 2012 AMAs.

The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones' 50th anniversary concerts began over the weekend, with the reunited band playing two-and-a-half hours of classics, along with some special guests. Former Stones bassist Bill Wyman returned to the fold for "It's Only Rock N Roll" and "Honky Tonk Women," while guitarist Mick Taylor joins the Stones for "Midnight Rambler." According to multiple reports, Mary J. Blige and Jeff Beck made cameo appearances during the epic concert at London's O2 Arena as well. The Stones will play a second O2 show tomorrow night.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Jimmy Page discusses his plans for a series of deluxe reissues of the Led Zeppelin catalog. The Zep guiarist notes that the band's catalog was last remastered two decades ago and "Everything is being transferred from analog to a higher-resolution digital format. That's one of the problems with the Zeppelin stuff. It sounds ridiculous on MP3. You can't hear what's there properly." Page also says to expect a number of alternate takes and mixes of songs, but very few additional songs.

Coldplay will be apparently taking some time off, after a year-and-a-half of touring and promotion behind last year's Mylo Xyloto. Singer Chris Martin said onstage in Brisbane last week that "This is the last big show for three years or so. I don't want to stop," according to Billboard. Coldplay have a handful of U.S. dates scheduled to close out 2012, including a co-headlining New Year's Eve gig with Jay-Z in Brooklyn.

Rapper Nate Dogg is releasing a new studio album from beyond the grave. AllHipHop.com reports that the album, Nate Dogg: It’s A Wonderful Life will contain unreleased music recorded before his death in 2011 and include collaborations with with Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg and more. The album will be released in the first half of 2013 by Seven Arts Music and United Media and Music Group.

After the release of his latest album Rebel Soul, Kid Rock is already thinking about future album releases. Kid Rock told Billboard that he's planning on re-recording his 11-times platinum breakthrough 1998 album Devil Without A Cause to celebrate its 15th anniversary in August 2013. He acknowledged that the reason for doing so was to have ownership over the new master recordings of the songs, but wants to do so for other reasons as well. "Some of them will be exactly like they were," he told Billboard, "and some of them will have the sensibilities of what we've learned playing those songs live for 15 years. I'm not going to say they're going to be better than the originals; that's tough to top. But I think there's something special about them that people will dig. They're going to be the way a lot of people have seen us play these versions live...We've twisted them up so much to where it's very interesting, very cool." Rock is also planning on the next studio album to finish out his current deal with Atlantic Records – combining both country tracks and hip-hop tracks for an album unlike any that he's ever released.

On Sunday, Chris Brown deleted his Twitter account... again, the result of a heated sexually explicit argument with comedian and TV producer Jenny Johnson. Johnson, who has been taking shots at Brown for many years since his arrest for his assault on singer Rihanna, mockingly replied to a tweet from the singer on Sunday. Brown responding with an insult to Johnson, and the exchange heated up from there. By Sunday night, Brown's Twitter account had disappeared. Brown also deleted his Twitter account in 2009, after ranting about Walmart and other major retailers which he claimed refused to carry his album Graffiti.

Bjork is ready to sing again after her surgery to remove a vocal chord polyp. The singer announced on her official website that she attempted to deal with the problem with exercise and diet since doctors first discovered the benign growth years ago. After the laser surgery, she stated that she had to stay quiet for three weeks before being able to start singing again. She wrote, "Surgery rocks! ... It's been very satisfying to sing all them clear notes again." Bjork also apologized for cancelations, saying, "I'm sorry I had to cancel stuff earlier in the year, didn't want to talk about this until I knew for sure if it would work.  So looking forward to singing for you in 2013..."
