Riley Couture joins CCM+E CHR WRVW (107.5 The River)/Nashville as part of the Woody and Jim morning team, starting Monday, December 10. She will also voicetrack nights at the station. Couture joins The River from CHR WHBQ/Memphis, where she hosted afternoon drive.
Jenn Hobby is stepping down from CHR WWWQ (Q100)/Atlanta's Bert Show after December 7. The Atlanta Journal Constitution's Rodney Ho reports that Hobby is pregnant with her first child. Hobby has been a part of the morning show for almost a decade.

Ford announces a new upgrade to its Sync technology, including improved voice commands for radio. The updated Sync will debut in the 2014 Ford Fiesta, and allow greater user control over voice-activated radio features. Tech Crunch notes that drivers can simply say the name of an artist, song, album, genre or radio station aloud to hear it. The system no longer differentiates between terrestrial and satellite radio either, as Sync now knows which stations are in which category.
The National Association of Broadcasters announce that News Corporation President and COO Chase Carey will participate in a question-and-answer session with NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith during the 2013 NAB Show opening event on Monday, April 8 in Las Vegas. The session will also include a "State of the Broadcast Industry" address by Smith.
