The Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, OK celebrates its seventh year on May 24, 25 and 26 with a lineup led by Guns N’ Roses, Alice In Chains and Korn. Other performers on the weekend will include Bush, Cheap Trick, Bullet For My Valentine, Papa Roach, Skillet, Hollywood Undead, Steel Panther, Asking Alexandria, Ratt, Halestorm, Device (with David Draiman), All That Remains, Escape the Fate, Dokken, Clutch, Motionless In White, Big Wreck, The Sword, Young Guns, Thousand Foot Krutch, Otherwise, Red Line Chemistry and many more. Prince will be a headliner at Switzerland's Montreux Jazz Festival in July. The Purple One will give three concerts at the 47th edition, on July 13, 14 and 15. "Groovy, funky and the undisputed master of improvisation, Prince's performances are all unique and unpredictable," organizers of the festival said in a statement. The rest of the lineup will be announced on April 18.
The new Fort Rock music festival will take place Sunday, April 14 at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida, the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. The initial lineup for Fort Rock includes The Offspring, 3 Doors Down, Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Volbeat, In This Moment, Escape The Fate, Device (with David Draiman), Pop Evil, Otherwise, Mindset Evolution and many more. Bands will perform on the Main Stage as well as the Jägermeister Second Stage.
D'Angelo and Ne-Yo have been tapped to headline the 2013 Soul Beach Music Festival in Aruba, taking place over Memorial Day weekend. The event will feature D'Angelo on the main stage on May 25, while Ne-Yo will close out the three-night event on May 26. Additional artists will be announced soon.
