For Adele fans, it was no surprise to see the singer pick up an Oscar last night for Best Song for "Skyfall." While Adele has won plenty of trophies, it did mark the first time a song from a James Bond film has won the Oscar. The singer also performed "Skyfall" during the ceremony, and backstage, she joked about how she may achieve an "EGOT" (Emmy Grammy Oscar Tony). "Maybe I'll do an HBO special like Beyoncé did," Adele told reporters, according to Billboard.com. "And a Tony, I'm not so sure. Maybe someday I'll do a musical."

Soundgarden has expanded its 2013 touring plans, with a month of May live dates that include a number of festivals and radio station events. The rockers will hit the road starting May 3 in Atlantic City, with dates announced up to May 28 in Broomfield, CO. Along the way, Soundgarden will play WWDC (DC101)/Washington, D.C. and WMMR/Philadelphia's festival shows, as well as Carolina Rebellion and Rock On The Range.

Prince will make an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this Friday, where he will play two songs, according to Billboard.com. However, it's not clear whether he'll perform new material or some of his classics. Prince also is due to perform at the Billboard Music Awards in May and he has several dates in Europe booked for this summer.

Tool will release a handcrafted, limited edition package of their original debut EP, Opiate, on March 26 to mark the 21st anniversary of the six-song release. The anniversary edition is limited to 5,000 copies and will only be available via Tool's website (www.toolband.com). The new package features art direction by Adam Jones, illustrations by artist Adi Granov and design packaging by Mackie Osborne, who has collaborated with Tool on many albums including 10,000 Days, Lateralus and Salival as well as posters and merchandise.  
 
Keyshia Cole is gearing up for an 18-city headlining tour, beginning in Westbury, NY on March 28 and wrapping in Cole's hometown of Oakland on April 21. The Woman to Woman tour - named after her November 2012 album - will feature special guest Chrisette Michele.

David Byrne and St. Vincent have scheduled more dates for their Love This Giant tour. The new shows will run from June 11 in Montclair, NJ to July 21 in Oakland, CA.

Iggy & The Stooges have set an April 30 release date for Ready To Die, their new studio album due out on Fat Possum Records. The label has also released a video interview with Iggy Pop, where he talks about making the new record and confusingly compares the Stooges' lineup to Smashing Pumpkins.
