Digital music video service VEVO has released a report on music video viewership. According to VEVO's data, 44.4 billion music videos were streamed globally between July of 2012 and June of 2013, with 10.4 billion of those views in the U.S. alone. During the same time frame, 122 million videos were viewed on VEVO daily. The site saw four billion streams worldwide in June of 2013, up from three billion a year earlier.
In the first half of 2013, "Love Me" by Lil Wayne f/Drake & Future was the most viewed video in the U.S., followed by Drake's "Started From The Bottom," "The Way" by Ariana Grande f/Mac Miller, "Stay" from Rihanna f/Mikky Ekko and the will.i.am and Britney Spears collaboration "Scream & Shout."
One Direction's "Kiss You" was the most-shared music video across VEVO in the U.S. during the first six months of the year, followed by Grande's "The Way," "One Way Or Another" from One Direction, Rihanna's "Stay" and "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus.
