Streaming Bounces Back In Triton's August Digital Rankers

Triton Digital has released its monthly Internet audio rankings for August 2013, with digital listenership back on the upswing after a recent decline. Pandora was once again at #1 for AAS (Average Active Sessions) for Monday - Friday 6a-8p) in the Domestic Rankings, reaching 1.765 million, up from 1.656 million in July. Session starts rose from 888.2 million to 911.95 million in August.
Clear Channel came in second with its AAS number also back up, from 316,605 in July to 330,316 in August. Cumulus moved into third place, followed by Slacker,CBS Radio, NPR Member Stations, EMF Corporate, Cox Radio, ESPN and Entercom.
For August's All Streams Ranker (M-F, 6a-8p), Clear Channel was at #1 again, with AAS back up from 319,096 in July to 332,760 in August. Prisa Radio remained in second, with Slacker staying in third place. Cumulus, CBS, NPR, EMF Corporate, Karnaval.com, Cox and ESPN rounded out the top ten.
For the full week Domestic Ranker (6a-mid), Pandora was still #1, as its AAS increased in August to 1.529 million. Clear Channel remained in second place, with Slacker in third, then Cumulus, CBS, NPR, EMF Corporate, Cox, Univision and ESPN.
For the August All Streams Ranker full week stats (6a-mid), Clear Channel stays at #1 as usual, followed by Slacker, Prisa Radio, Cumulus, CBS, NPR, EMF Corporate, Karnaval.com, idobi Radio and Cox.
