Entercom Communications announced today that Mark LaNeve has joined its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. LaNeve has served since 2012 as Chief Operating Officer of WPP’s Global Team Ford, an agency that serves as the marketing and advertising partner to Ford and Lincoln businesses globally. Previously, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Allstate Insurance Company, where he led the sales and marketing business and introduced the highly acclaimed “Mayhem” campaign.
LaNeve also served as General Manager of the Cadillac brand for General Motors. Under his leadership, Cadillac saw a renaissance and LaNeve was named “Grand Marketer of the Year” by Brandweek magazine in 2003 for his work. Before joining GM, LaNeve was CEO of Volvo Cars North America, where he helped lead a resurgence of the brand into the premium space of the US market and was heavily involved in the integration of Volvo with Ford, which purchased the brand in 1999.
