Jermaine Dupri
Jermaine Dupri and Ne-Yo will be honored at the 27th annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. The event will be held on June 26 in Los Angeles, where Dupri will be presented with prestigious ASCAP Founders Award. The award is given to songwriters and composers who have made pioneering contributions to music by inspiring and influencing their fellow music creators. Ne-Yo will receive the ASCAP Golden Note Award, which is presented to songwriters, composers and artists who have achieved extraordinary career milestones. The ceremony also will salute the songwriters and publishers of the most-performed ASCAP songs on the 2013 R&B/hip-hop, rap and gospel charts.

Marilyn Manson has joined the cast of the FX series Sons of Anarchy in a recurring role as a white supremacist named Ron Tully. Manson will appear in the show's seventh season, set to begin in September. "Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," Manson said in a press release. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

Interpol is set to play their first U.S. shows in 3 years, which include slots at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Governor's Ball and Austin City Limits. The band will play some scattered headlining dates in June and August, starting June 3 in New Haven, CT, and more Interpol news will be coming soon, according to a press release.

Ex-Doors Robby Krieger and John Densmore are still planning a musical tribute to late bandmate Ray Manzarek, but the challenge is in the timing. "We have talked about it and we are truly trying to get something together to do a tribute to Ray," Krieger told Billboard. "It's just very difficult to get the kind of people that we want all together at the same time. That's a big problem. A lot of people said they would love to do it; we just need to get the timing right. We don't want it to be half-assed. We want it to be really cool. But we're working on it, and it should happen." Meanwhile, Krieger will be part of the "Skrillex And Friends Superjam" at this year's Bonnaroo festival in June, joining Big Gigantic, Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Zedd, Janelle Monae, Warpaint and others.

Billy Idol's self-penned autobiography, Dancing With Myself, is set for publication on October 7 via Simon & Schuster's Touchstone imprint. The book details Idol's life story, from a childhood spent between the U.K. and America to his seminal role in the U.K. punk movement. It also will give a "warts and all" look at the culture of sex, drugs and rock & roll along the way, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
