CHR WPIA/Peoria welcomes Liam McCluskey as its new night host and Director of Promotions. McCluskey begins his new duties today.

Due to restructuring, Spam exits the APD/MD/afternoon post at CBS Radio Modern Rocker WWWX-F2 (HFS at 104.9)/Baltimore. Spam states, "As you’d guess, I’m eager to hear about any opportunities in the industry, either on the radio side or even on the label/promotion side, where I can use my experience, passion, and contacts in this format to help someone be a winner and a leader in their field. (Location is not an issue at all, I’m open to working anywhere.) You can contact me anytime via email at
spamaudio@gmail.com and by cell phone at 317-426-7726."

Cumulus Albuquerque announces that veteran morning man, Phil Moore, has retired after 37 years on air. The last 17 years, Moore hosted The Moore Music Morning Show on AC KMGA (95.5 Magic FM). Prior to that, he was on-air at sister station CHR KKOB-FM. The new morning show on KMGA, Magic in the Morning With Simon & Rachel debuted today, moving over from Country KRST, which became the all-new NASH-FM 92.3 KRST last Friday. Moore signed off on Friday (5/30) morning’s show.

Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa promotes Stephanie Sabota to General Sales Manager, effective immediately. In her new role, Sabota will oversee the revenue planning and execution for CHR WPOI-FM (HOT 101.5) and Modern Rock WSUN-FM (97X). In addition, Sabota will work specifically on cluster-wide talent development. Sabota joined CMG Tampa in 2009 as an Account Executive and had previously been promoted to Local Sales Manager.
