Cary Pahigian is named President and GM of Hearst's News Talk WBAL-AM and Active Rock WIYY/Baltimore. Pahigian, who replaces the retiring Ed Kiernan, formerly was cluster President and GM for Saga in Portland, ME.

AC WLIT/Chicago enlists the services of Premiere's nightly syndicated relationship talk show, Rendezvous With Simon & Kim, reports Chicagoland Radio & Media. The show airs Monday through Friday from 11 p.m. - 1 a.m.

offers condolences to the family and friends of Tom Rounds, Founder and CEO of Radio Express, Inc., and producer of the original hit countdown show, American Top 40 With Casey Kasem, who passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 77. His wife and business partner of 49 years, Barbara Rounds, was at his side. His 78th birthday would have been this Friday, June 6. He died from complications related to a minor surgical procedure.
