The Neighbourhood receives 2x Platinum

Los Angeles outfit The Neighbourhood recently celebrated the RIAA Double-Platinum certification of their hit, "Sweater Weather," with the Columbia Records team in New York. The single has now sold in excess of 2 million units and reached the #1 spot on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart. Meanwhile, The Neighbourhood is getting ready to kick off a North American tour on June 21 in Vancouver, Canada.

Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat have added five dates to their forthcoming North American tour. The co-headlining trek will kick off September 16 in Salt Lake City and run through October 24 in Las Vegas. The new cities announced are: Youngstown, OH on October 4; Detroit on October 8; Oklahoma City on October 18; Wichita on October 20; and Lubbock, TX on October 21.

Justin Timberlake asked his fans to send in their love stories via the hastag #NotaBadLoveStory in order to make a second, fan-sourced video for his single, "Not a Bad Thing." That video has now been released. To see which love stories made the cut, check it out below:

Trent Reznor
weighed in on Twitter to assure fans that he is still part of Beats Music after the company was acquired by Apple. "Busy touring Europe and trying to get the internet to work," tweeted Reznor. "but YES I am still CCO of Beats Music and looking forward to what lies ahead with Apple."

David Gray has announced a North American summer tour in conjunction with the release of his tenth studio album, Mutineers, out on June 17. The 23-city tour kicks off in Boston on August 1 and runs until September 3 in Los Angeles.

Modest Mouse has announced a brief summer tour with a few shows in the U.S. and the rest of the dates in Canada. The tour runs from July 11 in Saugerties, NY to August 9 in Queens, NY. It remains to be seen when Modest Mouse will release a new album, which will be the follow up to 2007Œs We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank.
