iHeartMedia Denver Names Kelly Ransford As Director Of Event Marketing
May 10, 2017

iHeartMedia has announced that Kelly Ransford has been named Director of Event Marketing for its Denver market effective immediately.

Ransford will spearhead iHeartMedia Denver’s multiple events throughout the year and will work closely with Ryan Clune, iHeartMedia Denver Region’s Senior Vice President of Sales, on sponsorships and revenue opportunities. She will also work with the stations’ programming departments to promote the market’s events on air and online.

“Kelly will be a dynamic force in this new role for iHeartMedia Denver as our event partnerships continue to evolve,” said Clune. “She has an amazing reputation within the industry and I’m thrilled for her to bring that to the team here at iHeartMedia Denver.”

Ransford joins iHeartMedia Denver from WXRT-FM in Chicago, Illinois, where she was the station’s music director. Her extensive marketing and event planning experience also includes positions at KMTT-FM and KNDD-FM in Seattle, Washington and KFOG-FM in San Francisco, California. Sansford began her career in Denver at iHeartMedia’s KOA-AM/FM and KBCO-FM.

“I’m beyond thrilled to be returning to Denver and iHeartMedia,” said Ransford. “The incredible team and environment is why the market is considered one of the country’s elite. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with eight premiere radio brands and the immensely talented and passionate teams driving their success. I look forward to working together to break more grounds and achieve new levels.”
