Rapper Logic Debuts Atop Billboard 200

Rapper Logic earns his first-ever #1 album on the Billboard 200 this week with Everybody. His last album, 2016's Bobby Tarantino, hit #12. Everybody earned 247,000 equivalent album units, 196,000 were in traditional album sales, according to Billboard's data. Country artist Chris Stapleton, who received rave reviews with his award-winning debut Traveller, debuts at #2 with From a Room: Volume 1. Stapleton had the best-selling release of the week, moving 202,000 units in traditional album sales.

Kendrick Lamar is at #3 with DAMN., followed by the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2: Awesome Mix Vol. 2 soundtrack at #4 and Drake's More Life at #5. Billboard notes this gives Universal Music Group all five albums in the top five on this week's chart. It is the first time this has happened since UMG achieved the same feat in November of 2015, coincidentally with Stapleton at #1.

Ed Sheeran is at #6 with , while rapper Russ debuts at #7 with There's Really a Wolf. The top ten is rounded out by Bruno Mars (#8), Gorillaz (#9) and the Epic AF compilation (#10).
