Dionnee Harper and Marsha St. Hubert have been promoted to Senior Vice Presidents of Urban Marketing for Atlantic Records, based at the company’s New York headquarters. Both Harper and St. Hubert are long-time members of the Atlantic team, having joined the label in 2000 and 2004 respectively.

“I have literally watched Dionnee and Marsha grow up at this company,” said Atlantic Co-Chairman & COO Julie Greenwald. “They have evolved into fantastic marketing executives and two of the most knowledgeable, accomplished and admired people in our business. Like all of us, they are first and foremost music fans, and they work 24/7 with incredible passion and devotion. Dionnee and Marsha have earned the love and respect of their artists and colleagues, and I am thrilled to announce these richly deserved promotions.”

“Dionnee and Marsha know the urban culture and marketplace inside out,” said Atlantic President of Black Music Michael Kyser. “Whether it’s micromanaging an album launch, creating and executing innovative marketing strategies, or guiding an artist on a promo tour, they are the best in the business. They come armed with deep musical knowledge and years of hands-on experience, and it shows in the wide-ranging success of our urban roster, from established artists to brand-new signings. I join Julie in congratulating them on their new posts.”

Harper joined the Warner Music Group (WMG) family right out of college in 2000, starting out as an intern at Elektra Records. Just a month later, she was hired as an assistant in the label’s Urban/Mixshow Promotions Department, and she’s been rising up the ranks ever since. In 2004, when Elektra merged with Atlantic Records, she became Urban Marketing Coordinator, followed by posts as Product Manager, Senior Director, and Vice President. Her first official project at Atlantic was Trey Songz’s 2005 debut album, and she has worked with him ever since, along with such artists as Juvenile, Twista, Trick Daddy, and Plies.

Today, Harper primarily oversees marketing for Atlantic releases coming via Artist Partner Group (APG), the joint venture founded by long-time WMG/Atlantic executive Mike Caren. The APG roster includes hit artists such as Kevin Gates, Charlie Puth, and Kehlani.

St. Hubert got her start in the business in 2002 as an intern for Lyor Cohen at IDJ. When Cohen left IDJ for WMG in 2004, he asked St. Hubert to join him. Shortly after moving to WMG, St. Hubert went to work for Atlantic Co-Chairman & CEO Craig Kallman, first as his assistant and then as A&R Operations Manager. In 2007, St. Hubert moved to Atlantic’s marketing department as a Product Manager, spearheading breakthrough projects by artists such as Wiz Khalifa, DJ Drama, and Lupe Fiasco.  In 2012, she left the company for a two-year stint at Epic Records.

St. Hubert returned to Atlantic in 2014, reuniting with Wiz Khalifa and other artists, while working on new campaigns for Gucci Mane, Missy Elliott, Kodak Black, and PNB Rock, among others.
