After it was announced that ABC Radio Networks reached an agreement to syndicate and distribute Perez Hilton's daily radio features across the U.S., Sound Source Networks, a division of Astral Media Radio, will bring Radio Perez to Canadian audiences. The show will premiere north of the border on Monday, May 5, and listeners will hear Perez twice a day with celebrity updates and news.

"This is the first time a superstar created on the Internet has made the transition to radio. Having someone as compelling as Perez as part of a station lineup will significantly drive a radio stations brand to hip and cool," said Sound Source Networks President Jean-Marie Heimrath.

Perez added, "2008 is all about expanding the Perez brand, and one of the areas that I’m most excited about is radio.  I’m looking forward to entertaining millions of people across America and around the world everyday, as only Perez Hilton can."
