Snoop And The Game Promise Unity On "West" Tour
April 7, 2005

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg and The Game held a press conference on Wednesday to announce their intentions for the upcoming How The West Was One tour. The Hip-Hop stars hope to use the trek as a sign of unity among West Coast rappers. "I hate to bring the whole gang thing into play, but him being from Long Beach and being a Crip and me being from Compton and being a Blood just sets a whole new future," Game explained. "This is so much more bigger than a poster with our faces on it. This provides for a new unified and diverse West Coast community as a whole."

The 30 city tour kicks off on April 15 in Utah and runs until May 29 in Vancouver, BC. Snoop said, "We've both grown as entertainers. We learned from each other. He was doing things onstage that was dazzling me. We know we gotta represent a little harder 'cause this is the home front and you gotta take care of your living room before you go outside." The Game added, "It ain't no funny business, no flying midgets or funny lights. Just me and Dogg and real hip-hop."

The Game

MTV.com reports that the press conference took place on the set of Snoop's new video for the songs "Ups & Downs" and "Bang Out," which will co-star The Game. Snoop also took the opportunity to show off his new line of sneakers, the Doggy Biscuitz, from Pony. The Game promised that his own shoe line from Reebok will debut early in 2006.
