Oasis continue to add live dates to their 2005 tour. The band will play a handful of smaller shows in Europe in May and June. They have also begun to add to their fall North American tour. Oasis will play San Diego, Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore and Cleveland in late September. Jet and Kasabian are on board as support acts for the fall tour.
The members of Depeche Mode are back in the studio, working on their first album since 2001's Exciter. "It's a great feeling to be back together in the studio again and we are very excited about the new material," singer Dave Gahan says. "We're all feeling incredibly positive about the album. [Producer] Ben Hillier has brought a whole new dynamic to the group which is quite inspiring."
The long out-of-print Sex Pistols documentary The Great Rock 'N Roll Swindle will be released on DVD in the States on May 17. The concert film includes footage of the Punk icons' final show in San Francisco in 1978. The DVD release marks the 25th anniversary of the movie, which was last available on VHS sometime in the 1990's.
The Very Best Of Death Row Records will arrive in stores on April 26, compiling some of the biggest Rap hits of the 1990s. The CD includes classics such as Snoop Dogg's "Gin And Juice" and "California Love" by 2Pac and Dr. Dre.
The Flaming Lips and The String Cheese Incident will co-headline this year's edition of the All Good Music Festival in Masontown, WV. The three day festival takes place from July 15 to 17, and will include performances from Les Claypool, Keller Williams and others.
