Rest easy O&A fans, the satellite
future looks bright.

It looks like Mel Karmazin will be making rounds tomorrow on some of the Sirius XM Radio talk shows.  Expect him to show up on Howard Stern's show as his first stop.  Afterwards, fans of Opie & Anthony will be glad to know that the combined satcaster CEO will be appearing on their program during the 9am hour. With the duo's contract in limbo and approaching its renewal date, O&A fans should finally get the answers they have been looking for ever since the merger was announced.

Bill Baily resigns the PD/afternoon post at Regent AC WLHT/Grand Rapids. Baily’s last day at the station will be August 15. Assuming the PD duties at WLHT is Alternative sister WGRD PD/middayer Jerry “JT” Tarrants. Additionally, Tarrants also picks up OM responsibilities for Regent’s five station Grand Rapids cluster. The station also announces the following changes: Gerry Barnaby joins for morning drive, while Dennis Prioir shifts from mornings to afternoons.

At Alternative WHHZ/Gainesville, MoJo resigns from the PD/MD/morning gig to pursue other opportunities. MoJo’s final day will be August 8.
