Axis Of Justice Still On Guard
May 23, 2005

Tom Morello

Axis Of Justice, the non-profit, social justice organization founded by Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello and System Of A Down singer Serj Tankian, has relaunched itself with a redesigned Web site. The organization's stated mission is to bring together musicians, fans and grass roots political groups to fight for social justice. Axis Of Justice also has a twice-monthly radio program, hosted by Morello and Tankian, which combines politically aware music with discussion and interviews. It airs on KPFK (90.7 in Los Angeles and 98.7 in Santa Barbara) the second and fourth Friday of every month, as well as on XM's "Fungus" Punk channel 53. Shows are also archived on the Axis Of Justice Web site.

With Audioslave and System Of A Down on tour this summer, Axis Of Justice booths will likely be found at both band's concerts. Audioslave performed over the weekend at the KROQ/Los Angeles Weenie Roast, and their new album, Out Of Exile, lands in stores tomorrow. System Of A Down's Mezmerize dropped last week.
