Report: Howard Stern's E! Television Run Set To End
June 21, 2005

Howard Stern and E! Entertainment may soon be parting ways, at least for new content. Marisa Guthrie of The New York Daily News reports that new episodes of Stern's television show will end when his E! contract concludes within the next nine days. While another network might pick up where E! checks out, the longtime Stern Show television outlet will keep the rights to the vast library it has already aired.

The Stern Show on television will not end with his move to Sirius Satellite Radio as the satcaster has been undergoing an extensive remodeling of its 36th floor offices in Manhattan's McGraw-Hill Building.  Sirius staffers were recently moved to make room for the Stern crew and the satcaster's satellite tracking system was moved out of its location adjacent to the 36th floor lobby to make room for Stern's air studio.

A call by FMQB to Stern's agent, Don Buchwald, for confirmation of the E! contract status was not returned by press time and the NY tabloid reports an E! spokesperson had no comment.
