A one-disc compilation of Nirvana rarities will be released on November 1, when Sliver: The Best Of The Box lands on music store shelves. The CD features 22 tracks, three of which have never seen official release. The remaining 19 songs also appear on last year's box set, With The Lights Out.
The compilation was made with input from Kurt Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean. Her mother Courtney Love told Rolling Stone, "We're pulling Frances into the family business," adding that she helped choose the album title and cover art. "Courtney and I involve Frances in Nirvana/Kurt decisions whenever we can," added Love's manager Peter Asher, who also manages the Cobain estate. "She's very perceptive and has cool ideas."
It is not yet known what the three previously unreleased songs will be.
