Lew Dickey began his career in 1985 as the founder of Stratford Research and built the company into a leading provider of market research and strategy consulting to the radio and television industries. He co-founded Cumulus Media in 1997 serving as Vice Chairman leading the acquisition effort responsible for over 130 separate transactions to build Cumulus' platform which is the second largest in number of stations. He was appointed CEO in June of 2000 and today is Chairman, President & CEO of the company which owns and operates 350 radio stations in 68 markets.  [more]

In the sports world, they are called “players-coaches,” the kind of coach players just love to play for. So calling Randi West a “players coach” wouldn’t be a reach at all. Since her arrival as Program Director at WDCG in 2004, she has instilled a “team” mentality. The team at G105 has become a tight-knit group that takes its marching orders from Randi, who in turn reciprocates total respect, trust and support back to her squad.

Chris “Doc” Garrett, PD, WGIR/Manchester & WHEB/Portsmouth


Chris “Doc” Garrett began his career at WKXL/Concord, NH before joining WGIR/Manchester in 1983 and then moving over to WHEB/Portsmouth, where he has been ever since. Doc is now the PD of both Clear Channel-owned stations, as well as overseeing the syndicated Greg and the Morning Buzz Network. “It’s like these are my two sons,” he says of the two stations. “They’re different, I love them both very much, but I treat them like two separate entities in a lot of ways.”
