Eminem has launched a new viral campaign to promote his new record, Relapse. Em posted a picture online of himself outside a building called "Popsomp Hills," which his website revealed is a fictional rehab center. A site for Popsomp Hills gives a phone number and email address, which reportedly signs up fans for more information about Em and Relapse.

Lil Wayne's request to block the release of a documentary about the Rap superstar has been denied by a state court judge. Wayne sued QD3 Entertainment and Digerati Holdings in March to prevent the release of The Carter. AllHipHop.com reports that Lil Wayne and his manager had asked that scenes showing the Rapper using drugs be cut from the film, but when it was screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, the footage was still in the documentary. According to Variety, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge denied Wayne's injunction and QD3 is free to distribute The Carter.A new live Nirvana DVD is expected out in November. According to the NME, Nirvana's legendary performance at the 1992 Reading Festival is slated for release by Universal and will include extra, never-before-seen footage.
After announcing that Saliva would be performing with a fill-in vocalist for their ailing frontman Josey Scott, the band has apparently scrapped those plans. Instead, Saliva has dropped off the SnoCore Tour and will not return to the road until at least the summer. "After much thought and consideration... the decision not to appear was made in the interest of the fans," Saliva announced online.
Franz Ferdinand will release a remixed "dub" version of their new record, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. Called Blood, the remix CD will be released June 1 and was originally part of the deluxe and limited edition versions of Tonight.
Motion City Soundtrack is recording their first album for new label home Columbia Records. Blink-182's Mark Hoppus will produce the new album. Hoppus was behind the boards for their 2005 album Commit This To Memory.
