Incubus

Incubus will launch an online archive for fans with rare songs, live tracks, videos and much more. Titled The Vault, the site will debut as part of enjoyincubus.com and will launch with the release of the upcoming best-of collection, Monuments And Melodies. All physical copies of the set will include a login code that allows free access to The Vault. Incubus hits the road this summer with The Duke Spirit opening up, starting July 9 in San Diego.

Kanye West is back at work on another Rap album, and according to him, the lyrics are going to blow everyone's mind. "I kill that rap shit, that's what I do," he told MTV News of his upcoming opus. "Lyrics right now, they're awes-mazing. They're basically untouchable. I'm about to take it to a whole 'nother level. I'd be scared if I was not me." Meanwhile, Kanye's book, Thank You and You're Welcome, will hit stores on July 14, and he has also decided to release his four-year-old video for the song "Spaceship" from his debut album, The College Dropout. "I directed this video four years ago," he wrote on his blog, "but I wasn't satisfied with it so I never released it. But now looking back at it I like it." Fans can view the clip on his website.

Paul McCartney will perform the very first concerts at Citi Field – the new home of the New York Mets – on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18. Tickets go on sale Monday, June 15 at 10 a.m. EST both online at www.507TIXX.com and by phone at (718) 507-TIXX. The shows carry extra historical significance because of McCartney's relationship to the Mets' old Shea Stadium. "I am really excited about playing Citi Field. The Beatles were the first to play at Shea Stadium and along with Billy Joel, I was the last to sing at the old Shea," stated McCartney. "So to be the first to play this stadium is incredible. I am really looking forward to a buzzing show."

Jay-Z and Eminem shared the stage at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Monday night to celebrate the release of the new video game DJ Hero. Jay offered the packed crowd some of his biggest hits like "99 Problems," "Can I Live" and "Jigga What" before Slim Shady joined him onstage and they traded verses on "Renegade." Eminem then played his own mini-set, including
"3 A.M.," "Underground," "We Made You" and "Crack a Bottle" from the new album, Relapse. The set closed with "Lose Yourself."

ASCAP will honor Alicia Keys with the ASCAP Golden Note Award as part of the 22nd Annual Rhythm & Soul Awards on June 26. The Golden Note Award is presented to "songwriters, composers, and artists who have achieved extraordinary career milestones." "Since joining the ASCAP family at the age of 17, Alicia has grown into one of the most highly recognized and influential songwriter/performers of the past decade, whose artistry puts her in league with many of her musical idols," said ASCAP President/Chairman Paul Williams. "We are especially proud to spotlight Alicia's extraordinary achievements by honoring her with ASCAP's Golden Note Award."

Asher Roth and Kid Cudi will hit the road together for the Great Hangover Tour. It is scheduled to run from July 14 in Boston to August 5 in Washington, D.C.

Miley Cyrus has announced that she'll be touring this fall, with her brother's band Metro Station opening up. The trek starts in Portland, OR on September 14 and winds up in Miami on December 2. Also of note, the entire tour will have paperless ticketing.

After a two-year hiatus, Amerie has announced that she will release her Def Jam debut, In Love & War, sometime in August. The lead single, "Why R U," will be serviced to radio on June 15 and the video premieres June 8 on BET. Producers on the album include Teddy Riley, Sean Garrett, Eric Hudson, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love and The Buchanans, according to Billboard.com.

Cher and the family of her late ex-husband Sonny Bono have filed suit against Universal Music Group over unpaid royalties. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the suit asks for $5 million and claims that the label used "wrongful tactics" to withhold royalties from a pair of best-of collections released in 1999 and 2002.

Rockers Pop Evil have inked a publishing deal with Cherry Lane Music Publishing Co., the first signing through Cherry Lane's joint venture with Jason Flom. Pop Evil's album Lipstick On The Mirror was re-released through Universal Republic on May 26 and the band will tour this summer opening for Judas Priest and Whitesnake.

Exene Cervenka of legendary Punk rockers X has revealed that she has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Cervenka said in a statement, "While this diagnosis will most certainly mean some changes for me, personally, it will not affect my commitments to the current X U.S. tour, nor will it affect my solo album that is slated for release this fall on Bloodshot Records. My focus will certainly be on maintaining my health — many people remain strong and continue to live their lives as productively as they had before an MS diagnosis and I plan to be one of those people."

Steve Earle will launch the second season of his Sirius XM show, The Steve Earle Show: Hardcore Troubadour Radio, beginning this Saturday, June 6 at 9 p.m. ET. Earle's show airs on Outlaw Country (Sirius ch. 63 and XM ch. 12).
