 Lil Wayne
| Lil Wayne will headline this summer's Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival. Weezy will be joined by Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and Drake for the 21-city tour, traveling through the U.S. and Canada. Tickets will go on sale June 20. The tour will kick off on July 27 in Scranton, PA and end on August 23 in Dallas.
WRXP (101.9 RXP The New York Rock Experience)/New York is giving 311 fans the chance to front the veteran rockers. Listeners can send in audio or video of themselves singing the band's latest hit, "Hey You," at 1019rxp.com and morning hosts Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram will air "I'm In The Band" entrants, narrowing down the finalists. One lucky fan will have the chance to sing "Hey You" backed by 311 on-stage during the band's soundcheck on June 27.
Usher has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly two years, Tameka Foster Raymond. The R&B star filed the petition Friday in Superior Court in Atlanta, according to People magazine, but no reason was given for the split. The couple, who got married in August 2007, have two sons together: Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months. Usher and his wife have reportedly been separated for months, and he has relocated to Las Vegas where he is recording his next album.
Paul McCartney has added a third concert at the Mets' new Citi Field on Tuesday, July 21 after tickets to his July 17 and 18 shows sold out in five minutes. Tickets for the additional show are on sale now. These inaugural concerts at Citi Field mark the latest in a series of landmark performances that link the ex-Beatle with the home of the Mets. The Beatles christened Shea Stadium in 1965, and McCartney played the final shows there with Billy Joel last year.Blur made their official return to the stage on Saturday night, playing over two hours for just 150 people at the East Anglian Railway Museum, the site of their first gig over 20 years ago. The founding members of Blur had not played together in nine years, but with guitarist Graham Coxon back in the fold, the band is playing a number of massive gigs in Europe this summer.

Incubus will visit Kevin & Bean at KROQ/Los Angeles tomorrow morning to discuss and play songs from their new best-of collection, Monuments And Melodies. The band will be in studio at 8 a.m. PT. The two-disc compilation is in stores tomorrow, June 16.
Sirius XM Radio said today that E Street Radio, the exclusive channel dedicated to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, has extended its broadcast run. This is the third time the popular music channel's limited run has been extended due to overwhelming subscriber demand. E Street Radio, heard on Sirius channel 10 and XM channel 58, will continue to offer listeners a weekly show hosted by Springsteen biographer Dave Marsh, which launched this spring. The channel also will continue to broadcast exclusive interviews with Springsteen and the E Street Band, rare archival concert recordings and non-stop Springsteen music. The Airborne Toxic Event will hit the road for another round of touring behind their self-titled debut. Aside from a handful of North American summer dates, the group will spend much of July and August overseas, then start a new headlining tour of North America on September 17 in Pomona, CA. That leg of touring ends in San Francisco on November 2, and the group will then go back to Europe once again later in November. With bassist Peter Hook having left New Order under acrimonious circumstances, the other three members of the group have formed a new band called Bad Lieutenant. Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Phil Cunningham have joined up with Blur bassist Alex James for the new group and Sumner tells the BBC they could have a new record out as soon as October.
Renowned Muscle Shoals producer and keyboardist Barry Beckett passed away on June 10 at the age of 66, following complications from a stroke, according to Billboard. Beckett performed on songs like Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome,” Willie Nelson’s “Bloody Mary Morning” and several tracks on Bob Seger’s Night Moves album. He was also known for being a part of Traffic’s live band in 1973, and he produced several Bob Dylan albums such as Slow Train Coming and Saved, along with Phish’s Rift, Dire Straits’ Communique and a song on Elton John’s Duets.
