Alice In Chains has unveiled the video for their new 7+ minute track "A Looking In View." The song is the first taste of their comeback record, Black Gives Way To Blue, due out September 29. As previously reported, AIC will be on tour in North America throughout September. The clip for "A Looking In View" can be seen below:

Chris Cornell has revealed to Rolling Stone that while Soundgarden has no plans to reunite, the band is working towards collecting their B-sides in some fashion. "The only thing that we have talked about is trying to put together an album of B sides and maybe a box set with some unreleased tracks we have," Cornell says. "This is something we first talked about 10 years ago. We all feel it’s time to do that, and we have a lot of fans out there, and we have a lot of new fans discovering our music, and I think the catalog and the legacy of the band has been ignored by the record label and previous management, so we decided to get together, and start working towards putting something like that out."

Panic At The Disco's Brendan Urie and Spencer Smith have released a statement about the band's future, after the announcement this week that guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker were leaving the band. "Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well. We are working on new songs that we are excited for you to hear," they wrote on MySpace. "Our dates with Blink-182 and No Doubt start in a little less than a month, and we wouldn’t miss those for the world." They added, "We just wanted to let you know, that the news of Ryan and Jon leaving the band is unfortunately true. It’s been an amazing journey being in a band with them, but sometimes individual tastes take friends in different directions and you can’t ignore it. They are some of the most talented guys we know, and we’re sure that whatever they do next will be great. We know everybody has a lot of questions at this point with everything being so out of the blue, most of those should be answered in the coming weeks. We appreciate every one of you, and hope you continue with us on this incredible ride."

AFI bassist Hunter Burgan has spilled the beans about the band's upcoming album. According to his Twitter, the new record is titled Crash Love and will be out on September 29.

Death Cab For Cutie will contribute a brand new song to the soundtrack to the upcoming film Twilight: New Moon. The track will arrive in August, while the soundtrack itself will be out later this year. Twilight: New Moon will land in theaters on November 20.

Placebo will return to North America in September in support of their latest album, Battle For The Sun. The tour begins in Portland, OR on September 12 with dates announced up to October 11 in New York City.
