Shakira
Shakira is back with a brand new single called "She Wolf." The electro-driven track will be available for download at Shakira.com starting July 14. Ahead of its release, fans can hear the Spanish version of the track, "Loba," on the player at Shakira.com. "She Wolf" is the first single to be taken from Shakira's as yet untitled new album, which is due for release in October through Epic Records. The album was written/produced by Shakira, alongside producers such as Pharrell Williams. It is a mostly English-language effort, but there's a full Spanish-language album set to follow in 2010.

Young Jeezy is continuing his Thug Motivation series with the third installment, Thug Motivation 103, which he's working on right now. "Thug Motivation 103 — I'm going back and picking up a little where I left off," he told MTV News. "Right now, people having a lot of money problems, but it ain't recession-wise — it's hustlin'-wise. It ain't what you got, it's what you keep. I know it because I really been through this. I been out there. I'mma help cats through this. So by the time Thug Motivation 103 is over with, we gonna be getting money again like when we used to blow 100, 200 thousand dollars in the club like it wasn't nothing." This summer, Jeezy will be on the road with Lil Wayne, Drake, Soulja Boy and Jeremih as part of the Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival.

Activision has revealed two dozen songs from Guitar Hero 5's 85-song set list, including tracks by 3 Doors Down, A Perfect Circle, Beastie Boys, Beck, Blink-182, Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Iron Maiden, Kings Of Leon, Motley Crue, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer and many more. One of the game's brand new tracks, Wolfmother’s "Back Round," is available now as a free download up on the GH5 website.

Fuse will air Kanye West: Live From the Chicago Theatre on Saturday, July 25 at 8 p.m. EST. The special airs in conjunction with the Rapper's 2nd annual Stay in School Benefit Concert that took place at the historic Chicago Theatre on Thursday, June 11. The program features an exclusive interview with Kanye speaking about his mother’s dream for the Kanye West Foundation in addition to performance footage from the concert.

Now that Living Colour has announced that they will be back with a new album, The Chair In The Doorway, on September 15, the group says old school fans will be pleased. The album has the band's signature mix of hard rock, funk/metal and blues arrangements. According to lead singer Corey Glover, most of the material came to fruition after the band was asked to re-record "Cult Of Personality" for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. From there, they started fleshed out songs while on tour and while Glover had time off from his role as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. "We recorded everywhere. We even recorded during shows - ideas that came up during shows turned into songs," Glover told Billboard.com. "A lot of that turned onto [bassist] Doug [Wimbish]. Doug made up a lot of grooves; we took a lot of grooves we had from soundchecks and gigs – and he sort of codified and made a library of that stuff."

Nineteen-year-old singer Kristinia DeBarge will be joining the third leg of Britney Spears’ Circus Tour, which will hit 20 cities from August 20-21 in Hamilton and Ottawa, Ontario, until September 26-27 in Las Vegas. "Joining Britney Spears for her Circus tour will be an amazing and surreal experience for me," says DeBarge. "I have been dreaming of an opportunity like this forever, and can’t wait." Her debut album, Exposed, comes out July 28.

The latest studio album from Danko Jones, Never Too Loud, will get a U.S. release on September 8 via Bad Taste Records/Caroline. Hailing from Toronto, the group teamed with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters) and recorded Never Too Loud at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles. "We really wanted to step it up sonically on this album, and Nick was the perfect guy for that," explains frontman Danko Jones. "There’s something to be said for the bands that stick to the story, Motorhead, AC/DC, Slayer, The Ramones, they’re the ones who have survived. We know who we are, but we upped the ante and experimented with varied styles of hard rock on this album."
